I’m Brandon, founder of SIBIN. I never set out to build a functional mushroom brand, but here we are.
SIBIN was born from frustration and burnout. At the end of my college years, life was chaos. I was juggling school (later in life), managing ongoing medical conditions, and working full-time. I was constantly exhausted, running on caffeine, chugging it wherever, whenever, just to stay upright.
Then one morning, it all caught up with me. I woke up with stomach ulcers, courtesy of stress and way too much caffeine. That was my wake-up call. I still loved the ritual of coffee, but my body was done. I needed an alternative.
I’d heard about mushroom coffee. I was mushroom-curious, so I gave it a shot. Tried one brand, hated it. Tried another, tasted like dirt. Back to square one.
Here’s the thing: I’ve always loved mushrooms. During COVID, I started growing several varieties at home, what else was there to do? One day, it hit me: Why not make my own?
So I did. I spent countless nights researching, testing, calling suppliers, failing, crying, and sleeping at my desk. And eventually… SIBIN was born.
But I didn’t stop there. As someone who’s used CBD for pain relief (shoutout to those medical conditions), I wanted to create something truly functional, something that helped people feel better and tasted good. So I infused SIBIN with premium CBD, giving it an edge that felt like magic when it finally came together.
SIBIN was crafted from the chaos, but it’s built to bring clarity. Better mornings, deeper sleep, calmer days. Because feeling good shouldn’t taste bad.
